CU Admissions Circular 2024

Online application process to participate in admission test for academic year 2022-2023:
1) The applicant should do all the activities related to the admission test through Chittagong University admission website https://admission.cu.ac.bd. On this website applicants will find admission guidelines, notices and links of all units of Chittagong University. Before applying to any unit/sub-unit read the admission guidelines carefully. Also read the instructions for each page online.
2) To apply for admission in any unit/sub-unit, go to the Chittagong University admission website and click on the Register button to submit the name of the applicant's higher secondary/equivalent examination board, roll number and pass mark and secondary or equivalent examination board name, roll number and pass mark. will see Fill the information correctly and click on submit button.
3) After clicking on the 'Submit' button, if the applicant's information is correct and eligible to apply in any unit/sub-unit, the personal mobile number of the applicant must be provided correctly on the next page. Then click on the "Send Confirmation Code" button and you will get a Confirmation Code on the applicant's mobile. Note that the mobile number used at the time of application must be the student's mobile number. All notifications/messages related to the admission test will be sent from the university to the said mobile number.
4) After providing the Confirmation Code and clicking on the 'Verify Code' button, if the Confirmation Code is correct, a "Profile" of the applicant will be created and "UserID" and "Password" will be sent to the mobile phone of the applicant. Save your “UserID” and “Password” for all future admission related enquiries/actions.
5) If you log in to the admission website with "UserID" and "Password" received on the mobile phone, you will go to the main page of the application, where the application information will be displayed. If the applicant has a quota and wants to add it to the application, he can add one or more quotas from the add quota option in the “Personal” tab of his profile.
6) Applicants should go to the specified section of their profile and upload a clear formal photograph (face uncovered) of correct size (Size: 150KB; Resolution: 300x300 pixels). Then click on “Question Language” and select the language of the exam question paper. Applicants for whom quota is applicable will select the respective quota. Then click on "Save Profile" and the applicant's profile will be created. Note that if the profile is not completed, the applicant will not be able to apply to any unit/sub-unit.
7) The applicant clicks on the “Application” tab in his/her profile and selects the unit/sub-unit to which the applicant wishes to apply from a list of units/sub-units he/she is eligible to apply for.
8) After selecting the unit/sub-unit the applicant will get a “Bill Number” by clicking on the “Apply” button. The applicant has to submit the application fee for that unit/sub-unit through Mobile Financial Service Operator 'Bkash' or 'Rocket' using the said Bill Number. Thus application has to be followed for each unit/sub-unit following the same procedure.
