Rajshahi College
Rajshahi College (রাজশাহী কলেজ) is the third oldest institution of higher education in Bangladesh. Established in 1873 in Rajshahi city, it is the third oldest college in Bangladesh after Dhaka College and Chittagong College.
In 1895, Rajshahi College was the first institution in the territories now comprising Bangladesh to award a graduate (master’s) degree.

ajshahi Cantonment Board School & College started its journey as a Junior School in 1986 with the cordial direction and assistance of late Colonel MD Abdul Aziz, the former education inclined Station Commandant of Rajshahi Cantonment.

Rajshahi Government City College is a government-owned higher secondary educational institution located in Rajshahi. It offers higher secondary, undergraduate and graduate programs, affiliated with National University, Bangladesh. It was established in 1958 and nationalized in 1982.
In its initial years, there was no land or building for the college. So, the academic activities are taken in Loknath high school with only 140 students. But, in 1969, the number of students of the institution was 3500.
